FAQ — Rajasthan Direct Admission

RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences) conducts state counselling for 85% of Government medical college seats + regulated share at private/deemed colleges based on NEET UG + Rajasthan domicile. For non-Rajasthan candidates, AIQ (15%) + Management/NRI Quota at private/deemed colleges are the primary pathways. Admission Bridges handles RUHS documentation plus parallel Management Quota applications.

Rajasthan has moderately-sized private medical ecosystem. Major Management Quota MBBS colleges: Geetanjali Udaipur, MGMCH Jaipur, Jaipur National University, Pacific Udaipur, AIIMS (no MQ), Ananta Institute Udaipur, NIMS University Jaipur, American International Udaipur. Fees ₹15–24 Lakh/yr depending on tier. NRI Quota at all private/deemed: USD 35,000–50,000/yr.

No. BITS Pilani admits exclusively through BITSAT (its own entrance exam). No Management Quota, no NRI Quota, no direct-admission pathway exists. BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses all follow the same BITSAT-merit model. For candidates who miss BITSAT, Rajasthan alternatives include MNIT Jaipur (JEE Main), IIT Jodhpur (JEE Advanced), LNMIIT Jaipur, Manipal University Jaipur, JECRC, and Mody University.

Manipal Jaipur admits via its own entrance (MU OET Jaipur) or accepted JEE Main scores. Direct Management Quota admission is available at ₹3.5–4 Lakh/yr for B.Tech; Management Quota MBA at ₹4–5 Lakh/yr. NRI Quota is also common with USD-component fees. The campus is a popular destination for North Indian candidates seeking a well-regarded private university outside Delhi NCR.

AIIMS Jodhpur (Central Government AIIMS) has the lowest MBBS fees in India — approximately ₹5,000 per year. Admission is exclusively through NEET UG via central MCC counselling. There is NO Management Quota, NO NRI Quota, and NO alternative pathway. AIIMS Jodhpur requires 99.95+ percentile in NEET for General category. For NRI candidates targeting Government AIIMS-tier institutions, the AIIMS network does not offer NRI Quota.

Our Rajasthan advisory: (1) benchmarking NEET/JEE Main/CAT scores against Rajasthan institutional cutoffs, (2) RUHS state counselling strategy for Rajasthan domicile candidates, (3) parallel Management Quota applications at Geetanjali, MGMCH, JNU, Pacific, NIMS, Ananta, Manipal Jaipur, JECRC, LNMIIT, (4) NRI Quota processing with USD fee compliance, (5) coordination with our Delhi NCR advisory for candidates considering both Rajasthan and NCR alternatives.
